The Western Australian Electoral Commission's purpose is to conduct impartial and independent elections and promote public awareness of electoral matters through education and information programs to foster public confidence and participation in the electoral process.
The Operational Plan 2012 - 2013 illustrates the key areas/and or activities that branches within the Commission will focus on over a two year period. These activities reflect the strategies outlined in the Commission's WAEC Strategic Plan 2010-2013 and decisions made by executive management.
