2009 Willagee By-electionThe electoral roll for the District of Willagee By-election closed at 6.00pm on Thursday 22nd October. Electors can check their enrolment details here or by calling the WAEC information line on (08) 9214 7240. The Willagee By-election is to be held on Saturday 28th November. The candidates, in ballot paper order, are shown here. Early voting in the by-election, either in-person or by post, is now available. Click here for details The WA Electoral Commission is also producing an elector information guide or ‘Easy Voter Card’ to assist Willagee electors. The card provides electors with details of how to complete their ballot papers correctly and the location of all polling places in the district, including those polling places most suitable for electors with a disability and the drive-in polling place for electors with mobility problems. The Easy Voter Card is being mailed directly to electors on the roll for the Willagee District. Electors are encouraged to take the easy voter card with them when they go to cast their vote on Saturday 28th November – it will help ensure their vote counts and make voting quick and easy. Electors on the electoral roll for the District of Willagee must vote, as it is compulsory. Not doing so means electors may risk being fined.
