The Commission lodges election packages with Australia Post over a staggered period that allows alll electors at least two weeks to complete their vote and return it prior to election day

The production and lodgement of packages is coordinated in such a way that priority is given to remote and rural local government districts and then to Perth metropolitan districts, starting with those on the rural-urban fringe.
